Reports To: Associate Director, Technical Services
Location: This position is to support properties within our London portfolio and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will based in London or neighbouring cities with the ability to travel within London and Southwestern Ontario.
Responsibilities:
Provides program delivery and business expertise for technical services delivered to CAPREIT Operations Units by the following:
- Assisting in the implementation and execution of service plans with buildings & equipment’s maintenance, following industry best practices.
- Inspections of all buildings on an ongoing basis and report issues to Technical Services Manager (TSM).
- Coordinate with TSM, Operations Managers (OM), and building staff by appropriate methods to resolve building system operational issues.
- Ensure all life safety certificates and equipment operating permits are in good standing and accurately recorded in company records.
- Ensure all maintenance and equipment’s service records are up to date and accurate.
- Directing, overseeing and monitoring maintenance staff and service technicians in maintenance functions, repair & services, work safety, and customer service.
- Providing technical support for decision making to operations.
- Assist in developing standards and specification for capital and operating repairs and services
- Assist with major renovations projects.
- Providing technical support and assist with internal departments for policy and procedure development and implementation at the operational level.
- Assist the Technical Services Manager in developing annual CAPEX budgets, with a focus on effective delivery to meet goals.
- Provide feedback on the development and effectiveness of the on-site maintenance capability for operations units, including the identification of any applicable training needs and development.
- Participate in the development and ongoing use of appropriate systems and technology to support the services plan to maximize innovation and cost reduce. System include computer-based maintenance system and building monitoring systems.
- Ensure building work practices comply with all applicable laws & regulations, city codes and other requirements.
- Assist the Technical Services Manager in the ongoing evaluation of activities, structure, development of staff and contracts within the Property Improvement Contract.
- Provide support in training site staff on systems, components, required inspection, and record keeping for HVAC, electrical, fire and emergency, interior/exterior building systems and components, health & safety and any other related building maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned by the Technical Services Manager
Qualifications:
- Completion of or working towards trade certification in gas, refrigeration, or building services;
- Background in building sciences including experience with boilers, plumbing, electrical, hydronic systems, building structure, and roofs;
- Certificate course in electrical or mechanical fields will be considered an asset, minimum of Power Engineering Class 5;
- Minimum of 4 – 6 years’ experience in building or facility maintenance, construction experience will be considered an asset;
- Working knowledge of, but not limited to, the National Fire Code, Provincial Fire Code, Federal and Provincial Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety legislation including asbestos, and TSSA;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Supervisory experience;

Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for preparing condition audits, administrative support, preparation and coordination of tender documents, vendor invoice management, project fee estimates, specifications, budgets, schedules, general project coordination and administration. Also, will coordinate with consulting firms, contractors, and internal stakeholders, to ensure project schedules and deadlines are met and are within budget. Lead in conducting site inspections to ensure work is performed to CAPREIT’s standards and applicable building codes prior to signing off on project completion. The Project Coordinator will support facilitating knowledge sharing, improve efficiency, standardize processes, drive skills training, and inspire overall collaboration.

- Maintain calendar, organize meetings, and take meeting minutes as required

Reports To: Associate Director, Technical Services
Responsibilities:
Provides program delivery and business expertise for technical services delivered to CAPREIT Operations Units by the following:
- Assisting in the implementation and execution of service plans with buildings & equipment’s maintenance, following industry best practices.
- Inspections of all buildings on an ongoing basis and report issues to Technical Services Manager (TSM).
- Coordinate with TSM, Operations Managers (OM), and building staff by appropriate methods to resolve building system operational issues.
- Ensure all life safety certificates and equipment operating permits are in good standing and accurately recorded in company records.
- Ensure all maintenance and equipment’s service records are up to date and accurate.
- Directing, overseeing and monitoring maintenance staff and service technicians in maintenance functions, repair & services, work safety, and customer service.
- Providing technical support for decision making to operations.
- Assist in developing standards and specification for capital and operating repairs and services
- Assist with major renovations projects.
- Providing technical support and assist with internal departments for policy and procedure development and implementation at the operational level.
- Assist the Technical Services Manager in developing annual CAPEX budgets, with a focus on effective delivery to meet goals.
- Provide feedback on the development and effectiveness of the on-site maintenance capability for operations units, including the identification of any applicable training needs and development.
- Participate in the development and ongoing use of appropriate systems and technology to support the services plan to maximize innovation and cost reduce. System include computer-based maintenance system and building monitoring systems.
- Ensure building work practices comply with all applicable laws & regulations, city codes and other requirements.
- Assist the Technical Services Manager in the ongoing evaluation of activities, structure, development of staff and contracts within the Property Improvement Contract.
- Provide support in training site staff on systems, components, required inspection, and record keeping for HVAC, electrical, fire and emergency, interior/exterior building systems and components, health & safety and any other related building maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned by the Technical Services Manager
Qualifications:
- Completion of or working towards trade certification in gas, refrigeration, or building services;
- Background in building sciences including experience with boilers, plumbing, electrical, hydronic systems, building structure, and roofs;
- Certificate course in electrical or mechanical fields will be considered an asset, minimum of Power Engineering Class 5;
- Minimum of 4 – 6 years’ experience in building or facility maintenance, construction experience will be considered an asset;
- Working knowledge of, but not limited to, the National Fire Code, Provincial Fire Code, Federal and Provincial Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety legislation including asbestos, and TSSA;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Supervisory experience;
- Organized and able to oversee multiple projects simultaneously;
- Excellent communication; and,
- Be on call for system failure escalations and to respond to major emergencies.
- Valid G driver's license and reliable vehicle required.

Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Administrator is primarily responsible for, but are not limited to, reviewing and coding corporate invoices for multiple properties accurately; working with employees and vendors to resolve all accounts payable inquiries in a timely manner; provide insight to process improvements and efficiencies, as well as assisting in other accounting functions as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Receive invoices daily, date stamp them, and match them with a PO.
- Validate PO invoices ensuring vendor name, invoice number, and date are keyed properly.
- Peer review E-Procurement batches, prior to posting.
- Reconcile and process holdback payments in a timely manner for PO vendors.
- Process out-of-scope (Non-PO) invoices in SAP.
- Code and process Utility invoices into SAP
Other:
- Assist in Utility Accounting Variance Analysis.
- Assist in Tele-Communication Payment remittance reconciliation.
- Other tasks as assigned by AP Team Lead and Manager.
Qualifications:
- 3 – 5 years of accounts payable experience
- Proficiency with SAP, MS Excel, and MS Word
- Good communication skills

Our Groundskeepers,
As Canada’s largest residential landlord, CAPREIT prides itself on the smooth operation and aesthetics of our properties. Our Groundskeepers are responsible for maintaining grounds and participating in grounds construction activities. They are outdoor enthusiasts who report to our Property Managers and ensure proper operation of all necessary equipment. The goal of this position is to maintain a functional, inviting, and aesthetically pleasing environment throughout the grounds of the building for both residents and Building Staff.
The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent communication skills, a background in exterior building mechanics and grounds work, the ability to work well without supervision, and the ability to handle multiple jobs in an organized fashion. Position Summary: The ProjectCoordinator, Ancillary Partnerships and Business Developmentis responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Ancillary Partnerships and Business Developmentdepartment. The Project Coordinator will report to the Associate Director, Ancillary Partnerships and Business Developmentand support the team’s goals and objectives. This role will be the first point of contact for the department and will ensure effective communication between internal and external parties.
Work Type: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the office)
Responsibilities:
- Manage overall administration of AncillaryDepartment and process implementation.
- Effectively oversee and coordinate the daily operations and progress tracking of departmental activities.
- Facilitate effective communication between CAPREIT and external vendors to ensure seamless project management and adherence to timelines.
- Schedule meetings, prepare meeting materials, attend meetings, and take accurate minutes and follow up on action items.
- Collaborate with other CAPREIT departments to obtain necessary information and approvals to keep ancillary projects on schedule and ensure proper processes are adhered to.
- Coordinate projects for specific revenue streams and tracks progress of these projects.
- Review vendor contracts to comprehend contractual clauses and extract pertinent information for tracking systems and team reports.
- Manage and update all tracking spreadsheets and monitor contract terms.
- Maintain and organize documentation in Sharepoint including contracts, plans, property lists, reports etc.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Accounting departments on a regular basis to ensure records are reconciled as needed. Communicate with external parties on collections of payments.
- Coordinate approvals for marketing events and send weekly reports to external partners.
- Execute travel and meeting arrangements as required.
- Research and source information as required.
- First point of contact for general and/or service-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
- 4+years’ experience in administrative rolewith experiencesupporting a team of 2 or more individuals
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
