Our Operations Managers,
As Canada’s largest residential landlord, CAPREIT prides itself the smooth operation and financial performance of our properties. Our Property Managers, known internally as Operations Managers, report to our Managing Directors and are responsible for delivering efficient and professional management to a portfolio of properties. Operations Managers work to maximize profits by managing budgets in their portfolio, ensuring full occupancy, and working with property staff to ensure the satisfaction of residents.
This role will be responsible for a portfolio of properties in Vancouver and North Vancouver comprising of nearly 800 units. Candidates for this position should have a university/college degree or equivalent work experience. In order to be considered for this position, candidates should possess a minimum of five years’ experience in a property manager role and have been responsible for at least 500 units. As well, candidates should be proficient in the interpretation of financial statements and the preparation of reports. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, people management, and decision making skills along with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Customer service and resident relations are an essential part of the Operation Manager’s role.
Please note that due to the nature of our business, this role will involve working on evenings and weekends plus on-call responsiblities. We ask that candidates have a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
