A key requirement for this role is deep expertise in using Azure DevOps to manage the entire testing lifecycle, from test planning and case management to defect tracking and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies and plans for our enterprise and support projects.
    • Define the scope of testing for each release, including regression, functional, performance, and security testing.
    • Assign and manage testing tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of all QA activities.
  • Azure DevOps Management:
    • Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) as the central hub for all testing activities.
    • Create and manage test plans, test suites, and test cases within Azure Test Plans.
    • Oversee the entire defect lifecycle in ADO, from logging and triaging bugs to verifying fixes and closing them.
    • Configure and maintain dashboards and reports in ADO to provide clear visibility into test progress, defect trends, and overall product quality.
    • Integrate automated test runs into Azure Pipelines (CI/CD) and analyze test results.
  • Hands-On Testing & Automation:
    • Participate in hands-on testing activities, including exploratory testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and complex test case execution.
    • Collaborate with the automation team to identify key scenarios for test automation and contribute to the automation framework.
    • Review automated test scripts and ensure they provide effective coverage.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related matters within the project team.
    • Communicate test status, risks, and issues clearly and effectively to stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and leadership.
    • Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve defects.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise project quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role and at least one ERP implementation experience.
  • Proven, hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), including:
    • Proficiency with Azure Test Plans for managing test cases and suites.
    • Deep understanding of Azure Boards for work item and bug tracking.
    • Experience with Azure Pipelines for CI/CD and integrating automated tests.
    • Ability to create custom queries and dashboards in ADO.
  • Strong experience in designing and executing manual test cases for web applications, APIs, and mobile platforms.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and the role of QA within them.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman).
  • Knowledge of a programming or scripting language (e.g., C#, Java, Python, JavaScript) will be an asset.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing tools.
