Summer Student
The candidate will be responsible for enhancing and driving our marketing roadmap and leading on the ground execution of key initiatives. 



Key Responsibilities:

    • Build a marketing strategy roadmap and responsible for on the ground execution
    • Negotiate and close supply and demand-side partnerships that can lead to rapid scale-up in existing and new markets
    • Plan and execute demand generation programs, including webinars, emails, nurtures, social, SEO, paid media, content, events, etc.
    • Experiment with new marketing channels to continually evaluate additional opportunities for growth
    • Participate in the development of marketing strategies, plans, and marketing tools
    • Performs any other task, deemed as important (example market research)

Key Requirements:

    • Graduate in Business studies or equivalent program
    • 1 to 5 years experience in marketing function preferably in Investments/Financial Services/Real estate
    • Knowledge & understanding of SEO concepts
    • Knowledge & understanding of Social Media marketing
    • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
    • Good computer skills (MS Office, Internet)


Eligibility:
This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs. According to criteria set forth by the program, to be eligible, youth must:

 

    • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment (The youth may be more than 30 years of age at the end of the employment period as long as the youth was 30 at the beginning of the employment period).
    • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
    • Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
    • International students are not eligible participants. International students include anyone who is temporarily in Canada for studies and who is not a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada. Youth awaiting a refugee status ruling, as well as those who hold a temporary visitor visa, youth visa, or work visa are ineligible.
